Trend alert: sheer anything
Pulled out my sheer pencil skirt from last year...glad I bought it then. I fell in love with it and still adore it. So many ways to wear it!

Outfit Of The Day
While, yes, it is indeed freezing outside but I'm not going to let that stop me from wearing shorts!....Indoors that is. I have the day off today so I'll be inside for a bit. Sipping coffee and enjoying some blogging all while listening to day-time television. What a day! Considering that I worked 13 hours yesterday. Happy Thursday!

Trend Alert: Sheer Maxi Skirts
H&M Summer look book 2011
Here are some brand new pictures of the H&M summer 2011 look book. I spot some summer trends....brights and color blocking! I am loving the bright colors even though I am not a huge color person (at all!). BUT this year, I vow to wear more color. It's so refreshing and cheery!

Elin Kling for H&M
Beautiful Swedish style blogger Elin Kling is the first-ever blogger turned H&M guest designer. Her 11-piece collection will be featured in 11 stores throughout Sweden. Read on:
THE COLLECTION WITH ELIN KLING WILL LAUNCH IN SWEDEN ON THE 3RD OF FEBRUARY, AND WILL BE SOLD IN 10 SELECTED STORES IN STOCKHOLM, GOTHENBURG, MALMÖ AND UPPSALA. 10% OF THE SALES WILL BE DONATED TO UNICEF.
THE COLLECTION CONSISTS OF 9 FASHION PIECES AND TWO ACCESSORIES, AND IS A MODERN, LIGHT AND MINIMALISTIC COLLECTION WITH BOHEMIAN INFLUENCES. THE SAYING “LESS IS MORE” GETS AN IMPORTANT MEANING. THE RESULT IS A STRONG AND CLEAR COLLECTION, WHERE SILHOUETTE AND MATERIALS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN DECORATION. THE DETAILS ARE WELL CONSIDERED AND DISCRETE, SUCH AS THE UN-EVEN HEM ON THE WASHED LEATHER-JACKET, THE HIDDEN CHAIN AT THE NECKLINE ON ONE OF THE DRESSES, AND THE RAW EDGE ON THE WIDE PANTS. THE BALANCE BETWEEN THE HARD, TOUGH AND SCULPTURAL, AND THE SOFT, DRAPED AND FEMININE SUITS BOTH H&M AND ELIN PERFECTLY.
- TO BE THE FIRST ONE TO MAKE THIS KIND OF COLLABORATION WITH H&M FEELS INCREDIBLY FLATTERING AND FUN. IT HAS BEEN VERY INSPIRING TO BE ABLE TO WORK SO CLOSELY WITH THE DESIGN TEAM AT H&M, AND I’M INCREDIBLY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. THE COLLECTION IS MINIMALISTIC AND RAW, BUT WITH BOHEMIAN ELEMENTS, SOMETHING THAT REFLECTS MY PERSONAL STYLE WELL, SAYS ELIN KLING.
